ArtSpan 2017 Exhibition at SOMArts Part 3
Continuing with the Pretend Curator game. Recap: during my time as a gallery representative at the San Francisco Open Studios Exhibition at SOMArts (on through Nov 12, 2017), I am the Pretend Curator. I group disparate pieces into my selected themes. Imagine these pieces arranged on a large wall or around your home. I really like this grouping because of the variety of media.
Theme Number Three: Strong Women
Note: many of the artists featured in this post have already finished with their open studios or have sold the piece. But, feel free to contact them to see their work or others in the series. You can find contact info on the ArtSpan website. Many will keep the work up or at least have them available this month.
Sorry about the glare in the photograph.
