Black Crow

I've been meeting monthly with an artist group since 2007 and we all have grown from knowing and looking at each other's work.  A few months ago, I asked my art colleagues to give me fodder for a painting.  The following was one of the submissions:

A shiny, black crow, raven, with black almost blue or perhaps it is blue almost black, oil on water reflections, glossy (and I know you hate shine!), a shimmer like a new car, feathers creating prisms.
