Edges Paintings at Philz Coffee

Another showing of my work this time from the Edges series at Philz Coffee on 24th Street and Douglass. I treat myself to a Philz coffee once a week (small Ether with medium cream) so when the opportunity came up to show my work there, I immediately contacted them.  Artspan has been actively encouraging businesses to show the work of local artists and with Open Studios 2015 coming up next month, they created many opportunities for their members. I am sharing the space with other members so it will be an eclectic show.  I chose paintings from the Edges series because they work well in dark places like coffee shops and bars.  

Philz coffee is my absolute favorite - the coffee is strong yet smooth.  There is no harshness, just a lovely cup of coffee to be enjoyed while sitting on their bench with one's faithful and obedient dog.
