Pantone Color of the Year - Marsala

My first reaction to seeing the 2015 Color of the Year was "yeech".  For the past 2 years, I've been creating a painting (Edges type) based on the color of the year.  This might really challenge me.

I try to find the colors that are friendly, that harmonize, that allow the color to sing.  Nothing is coming up for me - I'll have to do a lot of serious thinking and experimenting.
