Delaware Center for Contemporary Art

Next, I went to the Delaware Center for Contemporary Art.
It was smaller than I expected but what was great was that they support local artists by showing their work and having studios for rent.

I found the work of Justin Baldwin intruiguing.  His oil paintings on birch showed the unapologetic the use of tape.

Lauren Shea Little's "Phonocardiogram" 2014 was mesmerizing where her repetitive marks created these phonocardiograms.

I hopped on the bus back to the Hotel Dupont ( I could've walked), freshened up and went to the hotel bar for a much needed liquid refreshment.
