2 Versions of "The Rose"

Two paintings completed for a client who wanted the Edges painting based on the rose that grows outside my studio but was sold during the last Open Studios.  I am giving her 2 options.

These paintings are quite different from the original Rose painting but I feel these are more accurate.  Although, accuracy isn't the point of these paintings.  It is the feel from the combination of colors, the neighboring colors, and of course, the edges between them that I focus on.  I couldn't work on these until the rose was blooming which it is doing right now.

These measure 12 in X 12 in and are oil and beeswax on canvas.
