Painting Exchange - like the old fashioned pen pals

I received my pen pal painting from Lauren who lives in Brooklyn (part of Art House Coop project).  So fun to exchange a painting with another artist.

How intuitive of the organizers to match me up with someone who according to the little biography that accompanies the painting, loves to paint trees.  She is also someone who loves math, numbers, shapes and color.  She adds at the end " I hope the tree makes you feel optimistic and bright" - thank you, it will!  It's going to my studio today
