Process Continues

The process continues on trying to capture that feeling I had in Iceland.  These two represent the closest to what I am looking for although, a mixture of both would bring me even closer.  The background color of the top with some dark areas combined with the colors and swirls of the bottom - the next thing to try.  The spacing of the swirls in the bottom example are also close to what I envision.

Since surgery last Wednesday, I've made it to the studio 3 times but the pain and discomfort make a long session of painting impossible.  On top of that, there is the nausea from the pain medication.  I hope the end result will be worth it.
