Excelsior Library Reception

The Excelsior Library reception for the 5 new paintings on the exterior of the building was quite a nice affair with great refreshments, music, dance, and short succinct speeches.  It was a beautifully sunny day and the library was it's usual bustling place.   Each artist was presented with a certificate of honor by the district supervisor, John Avalos which included the signature of every member of the board of  supervisors.  I didn't expect that - what a nice surprise!
