Bill Cunningham New York

My new hero....Bill Cunningham of the New York Times.  I 've been enjoying his weekly photographic essay for years but after seeing the documentary about him, I have heightened my respect for his passion and work.   Check out the trailer for  the documentary "Bill Cunningham New York" - I borrowed the DVD from my wonderful public library.




 And, click here for his video on "sketching in pastels"  - he has a wonderful eye, so necessary for artists but his quickness to capture these images is what is impressive.  And, he works in film, not digital!
