This photo (
NY Times) reminded me so much of the Romantic period of painting especially the paintings of
Eugene Delacroix. There is so much going on in this photo - the people are passionate and together with the drapery and movement of the sign, reminds me of a Delacroix painting. Here, security personnel are scuffling with same-sex marriage opponents as the lower house of Parliament voted to give gay couples the right to wed and to adopt.
