continued Art Institute of Chicago: Bless, Boudicca, Sandra Backlund

Also at the Art Institute of Chicago was "Fashioning the Object" showcasing the work of three fashion designers, Bless, Boudicca and Sandra Backlund.  I fell in love the with work of Boudicca, founded by Zowie Broach and Brian Kirkby (a male and female in case you were wondering).  They intellectualize fashion, investigate rather than just decorate, although the work seems very decorative and the videos were informative and beautiful.
