At my weekly volunteer stint at SCRAP, i became acquainted with Boots, the cat-in-residence with his sister, Spot.  He is super tame and adds a sense of home to the otherwise cold warehouse environment.   Volunteering at SCRAP has been interesting - it seems to be well run, and the staff are very nice and dedicated.  I continued organizing the "image" boxes and found all sorts of ephemeral, some of which i put aside to purchase.  So, not only am i spending valuable painting time at SCRAP, I am spending valuable money there as well.  Oh well....
