belated post honoring Martin Luther King

A classmate of mine from my San Francisco Art Institute days commemorates Martin Luther King this year with a public sculpture. Adam Vermeire went on to Mills College to receive his MFA after receiving his BFA from SFAI.
The sculptures are installed in the underpass between Telegraph Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Way on 42nd Street in Oakland. The exhibit will be installed from January 22nd to February 25th.

I didn't make many connections while at art school but I made one with Adam, a great guy with a big heart.
