Friends, patrons, and bohemian peers of Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso, the Steins—writer Gertrude, her brothers Leo and Michael, and Michael's wife Sarah—helped spark an artistic revolution in early twentieth-century Paris. This landmark exhibition draws from the holdings of museums and individuals around the world to reunite the Steins' unparalleled collections of modern art, including iconic works by Matisse, Picasso, Paul CĂ©zanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and many more.

The exhibition is open exclusively for members on these days.

Yay for member preview days! On those days, the galleries are pretty quiet and one is able to actually see the work in a relaxed manner. It is sooo worth it to become a member!
