ultramarine violet

I've forgotten what a wonderful color ultramarine violet is. Since my commission project fell through, i am using the prepared canvas for an exploration into the color purple. I miss making my color fields and it feels nice to return to this process. It is always about what is the next most beautiful color may i add to enhance all the other previous colors.


I started listening to Stacy Schiff"s "Cleopatra". Very enjoyable.
