Jack van Hiele dies

I was saddened to read this morning about the passing of Jack van Hiele of Triangle Gallery in the SF Chronicle. His gallery will be celebrating it's 50th year (!!!) this year, the longest run contemporary art gallery in San Francisco. I didn't know he was 93 years old - he looked and acted much younger than that.
A “Closing Reception” will be held to celebrate Jack’s life at Triangle Gallery, 47 Kearny, February 12, 3-5 pm. No services are planned. Rest in peace, Jack.
