I checked out the "Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne and Beyond" show at the deYoung. It was well attended as one can imagine and even though we didn't reserve ahead of time, we were able to get into the show at a reasonable time. I thought that this show was better organized than the previous Impressionist show. I liked the themed rooms like the Cezanne or Gauguin room. They even had it by artistic styles like "Symbolism" or "Nabis". I wrote down notes of things i want to try when i get back into the studio as well as color combinations. It is a show i will have to return to a few more times.
Also showing was "To Dye For: A World Saturated in Color" and since i am into color and now into sewing, this was a most enjoyable show.
