Today is the first day back to the studio after a 2 week "staycation". Tonight, meeting with my artists' group, and then i am off to Phoenix to the Phoenix Art Museum for the "Cezanne and American Modernism". It seems like a very important show for painters to see and why is it in Phoenix and not in a major city like Chicago, San Francisco, or NYC? OK, San Francisco is just a little backwater town compared to the others but it would have been great to have it here.
