PEACE PROJECT
sponsored by the Whole 9
Both The Peace Project and The Whole 9 are conceived upon the philosophy of inclusion -- encouraging people from all cultures, religions, and creative walks of life, to participate, connect, share resources, and help find solutions for a better world. To this end, the artist submission fee has been set at just $10 per piece.
Peace lovers, art appreciators and corporations will be able to purchase individual or multiple panels and corporations of The Peace Project mosaic. Also on display and available for purchase will be other types of functional art specifically created for The Peace Project. A silent auction of other work from The Whole 9 community will take place at the events.
ALL net proceeds from sales of The Peace Project artwork and related products will be donated directly to war amputees and those most drastically impacted in Sierra Leone. The Whole 9 will document and broadcast back to The Whole 9 community exactly where and how the money is being used to reduce suffering, improve lives and bring peace. Two Art Ambassadors will also be sent to Sierra Leone.
