an experiment

An experiment - using the same technique of multiple layers of color except now, the colors have been fragmented into rectangles. The painting was inspired by an impressionist painting i read about in the NY Times. Speaking of impressionism, i went last Thursday to the preview of the "Birth of Impressionism" show at the deYoung Museum. The show is on now through September 6, 2010.
