The Arts Council of San Leandro is calling for artists to participate in a special art exhibition, which will be part of a larger event to take place at the San Leandro Main Library on April 17, 2010, between 10:00am and 3pm. All selected pieces will be on display at the library at 300 Estudillo Ave. from April 17th through April 30th, 2010.
The exhibit is open to artists living in the San Francisco Bay Area with an interest in exhibiting their 2-dimensional artwork in painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, digital and film photography, textile, collage and assemblage mediums. Subject matter is up to the artist but must be appropriate for showing in a public library. Artists are invited to submit up to 4 separate pieces of artwork for consideration in the exhibit. Artist may put a price on their artwork; any work sold during the show will be subject to a 20% commission to the Arts Council of San Leandro.
Entry fee is $15 per entry, with up to 4 entries per artist. The entry fee is non-refundable. Cash or checksmade out to the Arts Council of San Leandro and must be turned in with the art entry form.
