Self Portrait Project
Self Portrait Project brought to you by Art House Coop
Be part of a massive exhibition of self portraits from artists all around the globe! All you need to do is sign up to get started. Create an 8x10 inch drawing, photo, collage, or anything that represents you. Send it back to us and we will cover our gallery walls with all of the portraits. We're not sure what the actual record is, but we think it will be one of the largest portrait exhibitions ever!
Afterwards, not only will we have the exhibition at Brooklyn Art Library, we will create a book that will document all of the submissions we get back.
Every self portrait that we get back will be included in the book.

I love the Art House Coop - it is a great site for info, for ideas, projects, advertising your stuff and so much more. I participated in the "Word" project whereby you are assigned a word and you paint something on a 3 in X 3 in canvas that signifies to you that word. The little paintings were shown at the Atlanta International Airport. They returned my little paintings promptly and in good condition. They seemed organized and enthusiastic about art and making it accessible for the public and other artists. Thank you Art House Coop!
