"Like Hearing Your Name Called in a Language You Don't Understand'

Reading and/or listening to poetry reminds me of viewing art, especially abstractions. They require numerous visits at different times of the day, different states of mind, different environments. Poetry makes words have rhythm, and ignites all of the senses. This is what i hope to accomplish with my paintings. The computer screen is not a good friend to the abstract artist - it is great for graphic based art but if there are nuances and colors that can't be recreated on the screen, the work cannot be appreciated to its fullest. Having a website is a necessary calling card for every visual artist, and hopefully, it will spark enough interest for a buyer to want to see it in person.
