Since returning from Chicago, i've been transcribing my notes on nihonga painting - it is hugely process oriented. With my new pigments and other new materials, i have organized my studio once again to find a permanent home for all my nihonga supplies. In addition, i have been scouting the thrift stores to find white ceramic bowls, crockpots, an electric griddle, and a mini refrigerator. I was successful in finding the bowls and refrigerator, but not the other items. I pick up my refrigerator tonight, a Craigslist find.

How will i use what i learned in Chicago in my paintings? I am excited to find out.
