My plan is to go early tonight - if you want to see the art, then go early because it will get very crowded. Also, while you don't have to go tonight, if anyone is doing performance art, it will occur tonight and not everyday of the exhibition.
And in case you were wondering, a vernissage (varnishing, from French), also known as a preview, is a private view or an opening, as in the start of an art exhibition. Things sound so much more fancy in French.
