A Moment's Peace reception - last night
Last night's reception was lovely, in a cozy venue with nice food and drinkable wine - i swear $2 Chuck has improved in flavor. I saw 5 friends, 4 of whom i haven't seen for a while. One is involved with the upcoming Maker Faire, May 30 and 31st in San Mateo. If i were in town, i would definitely go. That weekend,i will be in Chicago, learning about Nihonga from a Nihonga master, Judith Krueger.
At every one of the Matt McKinley's art exhibits that i've attended always had the astrology guy, Charles Vickers who use to have the "Surfing Astrology" show on KUSF 90.3 FM. He charges $1 a minute so i paid for $10 worth and boy does he talk fast. It sounds like 2009 is going to be a good year for money.
