Giants, Rooftop Garden, BRX
Yesterday, we went to the Giants/Mets game (Giants lost 9 - 6) but on the way back to BART, we stopped off at SFMOMA for a drink of ice cold water (it was a particularly hot day) and then we checked out the new rooftop garden. It was so much more pleasant than i expected.
We had a delicious and refreshing New Orleans coffee from the Blue Bottle Cafe and enjoyed our drink outside. This cafe is accessible with paid admission, which is different from the ground floor cafe which is open to the public.
Afterwards, we went across the street to Baer Ridgeway Exposition to attend the opening for the SFAI art show benefitting the scholarship program. It was nice to see the work of Anne Appleby, Rebecca Bolinger, Joan Brown, Henry Wessel, Josephine Taylor, to name just a few of the work displayed and on sale.
