Reapplying to Kamiyama AIR

I finished up my application to the Kamiyama Artist in Residence program yesterday. I applied last year and when i didn't get in, i looked up the winning artists' work and i felt that my work was no where as mature as their work was. I wasn't planning on applying so soon except the organizers sent me an email encouraging me to reapply and they would waive the $50 application fee. How could i not? Eventhough i've already applied once before, i needed to redo my application and of course that takes time.
