Another Trees Posing painting and Inspiring colors

"Sixteen Trees Posing" finished this week.

Still, more inspiration from flowering trees...
I enjoyed analyzing the colors that i might use to simulate the essence of this plant. There would be cadium red light and alizarin crimson as the base with lots of titanium white and mixed with that would be a variety of other colors to make up those wonderful warm pink tones like burnt sienna, cadium lemon yellow, raw sienna, yellow ochre. For the greens, i think lemon yellow + sap green, cobalt green + lemon yellow, both with titanium white.
