Serenity, Winter 2009

The postcard for the show at the UCSF Center for Reproductive Health. My painting, "Memory of Peaches" is in the lower right hand corner. That painting was done during a cold spell in the studio when i was wearing 4 layers and a hat to keep myself somewhat comfortable. I was thinking of the warmth of peaches and how they signify summer. It is a painting of longing and reminiscence.















It is strange that the current weather in San Francisco is very warm, like our summers (ok, maybe warmer than our summers!). We need rain!
