Start Soma, the San Francisco gallery that offers reasonably priced, original artwork, is looking for unseasoned artists for New Art 08, a series of painted-room exhibits inside the Hotel Des Arts.
While the juried show focuses primarily on painting, Start Soma is also accepting digital submissions, to be shown on several dozen of the hotel's new flat-panel displays.
Artists are asked to submit photographs of their work (JPGs only), or links to images of their work online to artists@startmobile.net.
Submissions are open and will remain so until the hotel is stocked with several hundred pieces. For questions about the show, which opens Sept 17th and to contact the New Art 08 jury, email info@startsoma.com.
