Pace University Residency

ARTIST'S RESIDENCY AT PACE UNIVERSITY, JUNE -AUGUST, 2008

The Fine Arts Department and Dyson College of Pace University are pleased toannounce the second year of our SummerArtist's Residency Program. The program offers one artist theopportunity to create a new work or project in work space located on our
Westchester campus.

The Resident Artist selected for 2008 will receivearound the clock access to ceramics, sculpture, digital, and painting studios, a small stipend, and the opportunity to show their works in a solo exhibition in the Choate Gallery in September 2008. A large private studio is also provided. Artists are expected to produce their work utilizing the Pace studios, speak informally with students in our summer courses about their works in progress, and give a public lecture in conjunction with the exhibition: there are no other formal obligations. The studios are available from June 10 through the end of August 2008. Located in Westchester County just thirty miles outside of New York, our Pleasantville campus is easily
reached by car or Metro-North rail.
