My Poor Art Truck

While my art truck (1988 Toyota 4Runner) was parked at the 22nd St Caltrain Station, someone hacksawed the catalytic converter off! We are guessing someone wanted the metal - a crime that is in the news these days. Manhole covers are being stolen and being sold to metal recycling companies. The theft of copper wiring in traffic signals and street lights may compromise public safety. One would think that these companies would be suspicious of people showing up with a manhole cover or sawed off catalytic converter. Maybe they have the attitude "don't ask, don't tell."
