Ritual Roasters
An article in the NY Times about Ritual Roasters on Valencia in the Mision. I love their coffee and the seriousness of the barristas but i can almost never find a place to sit because of all the people working on their computers there. They have some of the nicest art exhibits of any coffee/restaurant space and i have tried to go through the proper channels to get them to review my work but i never heard back from them. Fortunately, if i want a great cup of coffee, i can go to their other location at Flora Grubb on Jerrold and 3rd Street. They probably don't have Wi-fi at this location but you cannot beat the ambiance. It is serenely beautiful.
The Open Studios postcards arrived today - i was worried because i usually don't have things delivered to the studio since the doors to the building are often closed and nobody is around in the morning. But maybe the UPS guys are familiar with the hours artists keep. The cards came out fine, the colors not as vibrant as i would have liked but the quality of the card is good and heavy at least compared to the Vistaprint cards I ordered previously. I will definitely use Overnight Prints again.
