Spent the afternoon framing the two drawings for the "Drawing from the Masters" show that is going to hung this Saturday. I went to Cheap Peet's to buy the frames - they were very helpful and i ended up buying a 30 X 40 simple black frame (with glass) with mats and spacers to float the image which came out to be about $135 for each frame. The rest of the time was devoted to taxes, in particular Schedule C, writing checks to ArtSpan for the October Open Studios and working on images to send with my application to an artist residency. The only painting was to tidy up edges of several canvases, signing and dating them, and wrapping them up.
