Maria Cristina La Paz and rain video

Another rainy day yesterday but was brightened by stopping at Mama Art Cafe to have a nice cup of jasmine tea and a quick email check. Currently, they are showing the paintings of Maria Cristina La Paz, a local (deceased) artist whose naive paintings are intentional and rather strange. The cafe curator, Cara Megan Louis puts together an interesting mix of shows, focusing on the artists who work in the Excelsior district.
Next up, the oil and acrylic paintings of Peru's landscape by Luis Valverde from Feb 4 to March 3, 2008. There will be an artist's reception on Feb 29th from 7-9pm.
Back to the studio to paint and play...

And, with my Flip Video i received for Xmas, i wanted to record the heavy rains we've been having. It's a bit long as i haven't figured out how to edit it yet.
