Wax postcards and Palo Alto book sale

Some wax postcards i've been doing for fun.

I went to the Palo Alto Public Library monthly book sale today http://www.friendspaloaltolib.org/ to see if i could pick up some art book bargains. I have found some great books for fantastic prices and there is a very decent selection of fiction as well as references books, cookbooks, computer books, and much more. Everything is organized very well and staffed by book loving volunteers. It can get a little intense early on as serious book collectors as well as a few unwelcomed book resellers are there to get the best books. There is also a section on ephemera, videos, books on tapes, large print books, and as if the books weren't already a great deal, there is a bargain basement room with hardcover books for $1 or less. I picked up a tattered but intact art history book with plates for 50 cents.
