painting and the Lab

I got to the point where i was about to pull the canvas off the stretcher because it was totally lacking in any depth or luster when i decided to continue with the painting. It went from the pink/purple to this and i am much happier with it.

I picked up the unsold trees from the Lab and i was glad to hear that i sold 11 at $20 each, half of which goes to the Lab. http://www.thelab.org/ The people there area very nice and accomodating and they put on interesting shows. I became a member this month.
