Blue Iris

The ThursdayStyles section of the NY Times announced that Pantone, THE color authority has announced its favorite color for 2008 and the winner is.....No. 18-3943!

Which is also known as blue iris. I am excited by this choice because for whatever reason, this particular color has been finding it's way into my paintings, no matter what the theme is. Above are the past winners.
