But then i realized that it costs $1500 for the booth! So even if i have the honor of being selected to show my work, it costs 1500 big ones! Whoops....
Anyway, deadline is Nov 22nd if any of you are interested.

Last night i was inspired by 10 women who were honored for their honesty, strength, courage, and all they did was simply tell the truth. It was the 2007 10 Women Campaign honoring Truth Tellers. Some i was familiar with because i listen to KPFA and KALW but others were new to me and enlightening. The 10 women honored were Rose Aguilar (KALW host of "Your Call"), Joan Blades, founder of Momsrising.org and moveon.org, Amy Goodman ( host of Democracy Now on KPFA), Ann Harrison, (executive director of New Leaf Services for Our Commnity ), Marie Harrison (San Francisco Community Activist), Jane Hightower, MD (remember the research about the mercury in fish causing health problems? That was her work.) Andrea Lewis (morning KPFA host), Eli Painted Crow (activist, Iraqui Veterans Against the War, Code Pink), Laura Scher, (cofounder of Working Assets) and Thenmozhi Soundararajan (filmmaker, singer, grassroots media activist). They spoke eloquently, and i was especially moved my Eli Painted Crow and Amy Goodman.

Today, we moved some furniture into the loft to store but also for me to use in case i need a comfy place to sit. A table was moved upstairs and we managed to move the large paintings upstairs without too much trouble.
