kamaboko forest

The day was spent painting my little trees on the kamaboko wood planks - it is very exhausting work, much more so than doing a large painting because so many decisions on color and brush stroke have to be made. It was mentally taxing but enjoyable. I have enough planks to make about 85 little trees, a kamaboko forest. I like it as an installation and will continue to add to the wall.

And, these kamaboko trees are drying on the window sill.
